This morning at the nest site along Sligo Creek, I counted four birds where yesterday there was just one. I expect more to arrive in the days to come.

I've had at least one request for directions to the site. I'll repeat them here one more time: From the intersection of Piney Branch Road and Sligo Creek Parkway, head upstream on Sligo (in the direction of Wayne Avenue - away from Takoma Park) and turn immediately into the parking lot for the tennis courts. Continuing upstream on the footpath running along the creek, and which passes through the parking lot, you will immediately come to a bridge over the creek. Look upstream high up in the branches hanging over the creek - there you should see the nests, if not the birds. Now is a great time to go before too much foliage comes in and obscures the view.
