Jim Stasz and I birded Eastern Neck this morning with the main highlight being 2 adult Northern Gannets viewed from the Ingleside overlook. They were flying north but occasionally circling and stayed in view for several minutes. There are very few records north of the Bay Bridge. Northern Gannets seem reluctant to cross bridges as they are quite numerous just south of the bridge.

We also saw 2 Brown-headed Nuthatches on the Boxes Pt trail and had an Orange-crowned Warbler along the main road.

Jim Brighton joined us in the afternoon and we repeated the BH Nuthatch/Gannet combo in SW Wicomico County.

Jim Stasz has the full notes, so hopefully he'll post them.
