Highlights from a beautiful Sunday afternoon (1-3 pm) walk along the River 
Trail at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens included: 1 Bald Eagle, 3 Female Hooded 
Mergansers, 2 American Black Ducks, 3 Red-shouldered Hawks, 3 Greater 
Yellowlegs, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Wilson's Snipe, 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 
1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 3 Tree Swallows, and 2 Brown Thrashers.

This morning, between 7 and 7:30, two Savannah Sparrows were feeding on the 
football field at Cardozo High School, located at 13th St. and Florida 
Avenue, NW.
