Hi --

Barry and I took our three dogs for a walk in Northwest Branch Park (Mont. Co.) this afternoon -- this is the area above Randolph Rd. and pretty wild. It was also quite birdy, and we saw some nice birds including:

3 Wood Duck
1 Great Blue Heron
1 Hairy Woodpecker
1 Pileated Woodpecker (plus R-B, Downy and Flicker)
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch (getting kind of late)
2-3 White-breasted Nuthatches
2 Golden-crowned Kinglets
15 or so Myrtle Warblers
1 Palm Warbler (yellow)
8 Bluebirds
20-30 Cedar Waxwings
6-8 White-throated Sparrows

plus the usual suspects, esp. lots of Robins.
