Weather:
47-62 degrees; partly cloudy; good visibility; winds westerly 5-14 mph.

Raptor Observations:
First Broadwings of the season; good all-around day with 12 species.

Non-raptor Observations:
Near a thousand Tree Swallows, maybe a hundred Northern Rough-winged
Swallows, and a few Barn Swallows and Purple Martins; 15 migrant Common
Loons; a pair of American Wigeons; Snowy Egret; about 15 Bonaparte's
Gulls; Red-headed Woodpecker; 13 Orange Sulphur Butterflies heading north.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD.  Best
winds are from the southwest.
