This morning on the way to campus, I heard and was then able to see one,
most likely two NORTHERN PARULA warblers. I had a clear look at one and
there was a second warbler-size bird, and they were chasing each other
around in the tree tops. I did not however, see any of the palm warblers
that have been around since late last week.
Yesterday morning I did see the Great Horned Owl that Derek Richardson
sighted on Monday, I did not find it on my way back home (though Derek
said someone else had found it around sunset). Also did not see it this
morning.
