Twelve birders joined Nancy and me for the 8:00 a.m., Wednesday walk along
the C&O Canal between milepost 72 and 73. We had a total of 39 species, the
highlights being very good, leisurely looks at a migrating Black-crowned
Night-Heron and fleeting, treetop looks at a Yellow-throated Warbler.
