I'm sure this topic has been covered before.  I was on a PA site today, and 
they prohibit abbreviations.  I think its a good rule.  Why say YCNH, which 
is an easy example, instead of Yellow-crowned Night Heron?  Norm has done a 
wonderfull job of providing us a great way to communicate.   Let's make it 
easy!   Why should we have to think what species someone is speaking of?  
Thinking makes my head hurt!  :^)  Your thoughts, Norm?  Thank you.
