Yesterday, Saturday, I woke up a tad late and decided to head over the Elk Neck State Forest. I did have about 6 Broad-wing Hawks circling around the Park. They were calling. Real neat call too. Anyway, some more highlights from the forest were:
Red-shouldered Hawk
Broad-wing Hawk
Northern Harrier
Barn Swallow
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Eastern Phoebe
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Hermit Thrush
Blue-headed Vireo
Black and White Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pine Warbler
Scarlet Tanager
Fair Hill highlights;
Coopers Hawk
Warbling Vireo
Common Yellowthroat
This morning at home;
Common Loon calling and flying over head
Double-crested Cormorant
Bank Swallow
Yellow-rumped warbler
