Folks

While setting on our neighbors patio around 6:30 PM Gwen and I heard a Warbling Vireo singing in their yard. The bird sang several times and flew northeast, but I am not sure if it flew over our property.

I was not in my yard, but could have heard it from my deck next door if I were setting there. This would be a new yard bird if I count it. I only have a few Warbling Vireo records from Charles Co., and most are along the Potomac. I am sure they are an annual occurrence but don't seem to sing too much until they get to the breeding grounds in the piedmont. We are about five miles from the river.

Oh the dilemma of listing.
