In the (light) rain this morning, the highlight at Ft. Bayard was at least 4 PURPLE FINCHES (3 males and one brown) in a group of 6-8 Carpodacus finches.  I didn't get great looks at the others, so I'm not sure whether they were all Purples or had some House mixed in.

No warblers and nothing else of note, just the now-regular horde of Chipping Sparrows and a somewhat larger number of Juncos.
