Talbot County Bird club walk for Easter Sun 4 - 16 - 06

       Hi all      The   Talbot  County  bird Club  walk for Sun April 16 , 
06     was  enjoyed by  9  birders  led by Jan  Reese .   He  lead us around 
the Trappe  Area  Stream  Bottoms . we had  unofficaly  55 species     
Highlights were

Common Loon    1   flyover
TV
Black  Vultrue
Great Blue Heron
Red Tailed Hawks
Bald  Eagle        1 Adult
Canada  Geese
Mallard
Wood Duck    1
Kingfisher   2
Horned Lark
Blue Headed  Vireo       1             put  on   a good show   all had good 
and lingering  looks
Pine  Warbler
L. Waterthrush    2
Common  Yellowthroat     1
Northern Parula  Warbler      2      eye level looks
Ruby  Crowned  Kinglet     2  total       1  singing male
Cedar  Waxwing       2       one bird picked   a seed from a maple tree and  
passed   to his mate
   and repeated it a couple of times    quite interesting to see
Eastern Bluebirds
Tree swallows
English sparrows        All  3   species having a serious  disscussion  
about  the nest box rights  to  2 birdhouses   at a farmstead   .
Savannaha  Sparrow  1
White Throated  Sparrows       many in tree tops    singing
Song sparrow
Goldfinch
Carolina Chickadee     checking  out tree  holes
Tufted Titmouse
