This morning there was one Great Egret at the Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve. 
Several wood ducks flushed from up in the trees as I walked the trail along 
the lake. Was interesting to watch one pair as they flew around the lake, 
in through the trees, then landed in a tree out in the marsh.
