I checked the area by Owings Mills Blvd and Red Run Rd for the
possible Eurasian Collared Doves for about a half-hour this afternoon,
but did not see any. There were a few distant Pigeons on a high-rise
building. It's a really congested and over-developed area, and a
miserable place to be at rush hour, but I did see an adult Bald Eagle
circling overhead! This is near the wetlands (across Red Run Rd from
the mall) where Keith Costley leads a field trip (May 21 this year)
that is surprisingly productive despite the development.

In the morning I had productive visits to Liberty Dam trail and
Powells Run Rd in western Baltimore County.

At the Liberty Dam Trail- Warblers: 1 Yellow-Throated (heard only)*,
~10 Parula, 1 La Waterthrush (HO), ~5 B&W, 1Ovenbird*, 1 yellow Palm.
1 BH Vireo, ~5 Hermit Thrushes, some singing, MANY R-c Kinglets, a lot
of White Throats, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Wood ducks.

At Powells Run Rd - Heard 1 Prairie*, 1 La Waterthrush, 2 singing
Purple Finches. Saw 5 Broadwings (4 in kettle).

* = first of season for me
