    It is really spring when the HOUSE WRENS arrive in our Bethesda backyard, and emit their bubbling song.  Other backyard residents today were: 
  Rufous-sided Towhee
  American Goldfinch
  Song Sparrow
  Carolina Wren
  Purple Grackle
  Parula Warbler
  Gray Catbird
  House Finch
  House Sparrow
  American Crow
  European Starling
