Hi all --

A bit warmer this am, but actually slower than yesterday -- weather report said low-pressure/rain to the south so perhaps this affected migration. However, as usual, if you looked and listened long enough, birds could be found!

Warblers: Black-and-White (1), Black-throated Green (1), CAPE MAY (1, singing male, dynamite views!), Myrtle (~35), Ovenbird (2, HO), Nashville (1), Palm (2, yellow), Prairie (1).

Other migrants: Scarlet Tanager (2), Wood Thrush (6, many are now locally on territory), Red-eyed Vireo (2), Blue-headed Vireo (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (8), Junco (1), Cedar Waxwing (5).

Far fewer Goldfinches and White-throated Sparrows. Brown Thrashers nest-buildng at the Equitation Field.
