I arrived at Lilypons about 1030 this morning. Only bird of note on the drive there was an Osprey flying over the interstate in Washington County. Once I arrived at Lilypons, I birded my way up to the greenhouses. Within 20 minutes of my arrival, the torrential downpour began. Luckily I was able to see the Anhinga twice before the rain began. Both times I had it soaring overhead. I sat out the rain underneath the overhang at the building, chatting with Paul Noell. Once I saw the rain was about to clear, I decided to bird around a bit since it was my first time birding there before. The birds became very active after the ran. Below is the list from my whole visit.
