Hi --

As Clive posted earlier, we stayed on after he left and did the Maintenance Yard and Military Field, and added a number of birds of interest. Things are really starting to pick up!

Warblers: Black-and-White (3), Black-throated Green (1), Blue-Winged (5!, one singing an abnormal song - br-br-br-br-br, buzzzz-- but appearing normal BW), Myrtle (ca. 50), Palm (5, all yellow), Ovenbird (5, HO), Yellow (1), Wormeating (2, HO).

Other migrants: Blue-headed Vireo (5), Red-eyed Vireo (2), Yellow-throated Vireo (1), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (12), Great Crested Flycatcher (1), Eastern Kingbird 1), Eastern Phoebe (3), Wood Thrush (6), Brown Thrasher (1), Catbird (3), Purple Finch (1), Baltimore Oriole (1), Orchard Oriole (1, driving home thru park), Scarlet Tanager (1, HO), Ruby-throated Hummingbird (1), Junco (2).

Many, many Goldfinches and several large groups of Blue Jays passing over in diurnal migration.
