C&O Canal Washington County Today

6 people came on the Wednesday morning walk along the C&O Canal near
milepost 72 today. We had good looks at Prothonotary & Yellow-throated
Wablers, Northern Parula, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Baltimore Oriole.
Later, Nancy and I went down to the Canal across from Haarpers Ferry
(Maryland Heights) and saw Orchard Oriole and Eastern Kingbird. All told, we
had a total of 42 species.
