After a slow day yesterday, some nice new arrivals in the park today. Best was a park-first NASHVILLE WARBLER, singing persistently (though he was done by the time I left). Finally found him after some work. Some lucky stiff on 46th Street had a nice yard bird.

Also had a VEERY, which gave me a soft little version of that great song for me (thrushes in this park are usually just passing through looking for better cover, and rarely seem to sing, especially on weekdays when the road noise is bad).

Yellow-rumps and Parula: check. Chipping Sparrows: down to just 2.
