Fair Hill in Cecil Yesterday

Hello all. Parke John Tom Raub and I decided to take a couple of hours on Saturday to go thru Fair Hill to see what was going on up their. Turned out there was a lot. I will give our highlights.

Solitary Sandpiper 3
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Ruby th. Hummingbird 2

Pileated Woodpecker 1
Eastern Wood-Pewee 6
Acadian Flycatcher 5
Willow/ Alder Flycatcher.... 3 different Empid songs at the same time. They were chasing each other around. I heard all three. I heard the normal Acadian, then a three noted burry song. fee-bee-o, repeated many times. During that same time I heard still another zip beww repeated many times. It was a mess. Those 2 empids are not my strong point. I can tell what they weren't. Sometimes we are left identifying that way.

 I Ended up with 92 species for the day.

Also, I went to visit a friend on Kent Narrows. Ended up with Snowy Egret and 4 Least Terns for year birds.
