Hello Maryland birders--

I am a former MD resident now living in northern MN and will be in town this
weekend visiting my mother (who lives in the Carderock Springs section of
Bethesda). I might have a few hours free to go birding, and I am hoping to show
my 13 yo son some of the "southern" specialties...especially Hooded, Kentucky,
Worm eating and Cerulean Warblers, YB chats, and Louisianna Waterthrush. We
also plan to head to the coast to look for shorebirds if time allows.

I'm afraid that most of the locations I remember from when I last lived in
Montgomery County (>20 years ago) have changed; I would welcome any suggestions
for up-to-date locations to search for these birds...

Thanks in advance!
