While having dinner last night a pair of Wood Thrushes spent 15 minutes
working the mulch along the back of the house. At one point the
thrushes were just on the other side of the glass, five ft from us. You
could not ask for a better or closer look. Today three Black-throated
Blue Warblers came by, third year for them. Other yard birds: Yellow-
rumped, Pine and Worm-eating warblers, Blue Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager,
Great-crested Flycatcher, Ruby-throated Hummer(3 wks), Tree Swallows,
Purple Martins and E. Wood-Peewee.

We also have, how can I forget, a Barred Owl that hoots from 11 pm
until 4 am.
