This is a reminder that tomorrow's Baltimore Bird Club field trip to Patterson Park will be led by photographer Middleton Evans, substituting for David Curson. All are welcome - meet at 8am by the fountain by 27 South Patterson Park Avenue.
There should be a lot of good birds around tomorrow. My list from yesterday (Thurs 4 May) includes 2 warblers I had not seen here before, Prairie and Canada (see below). This morning I heard the Prairie and a Black-throated blue singing as I walked through and saw 2 Magnolia Warblers, a redstart and a Northern Waterthrush at the pond where I met Middleton getting some good shots of Green Herons and warblers.
