My lifebird sighting (ok, I'm pretty new at this) of a Pine Siskin
(likely female) at our feeders about 6:30 this evening. First seen
at the thistle feeder, where I was thinking, "How about that; that
female House Finch has figured out the upside down feeding
thing." And then, "Hmmm, strong wing bars like a Goldfinch," and
then "Hmm, longish pointy beak." And finally, "Ah ha."
Is this somewhat late for these guys?
Cheers,
