Brad,
This Tuesday I was walking along Connecticut Ave on the Taft Bridge in DC on
the way to a meeting, when a small flock of about a dozen American
Goldfinches flew over. Among them - a PINE SISKIN gave out a call, which I
found surprising as well. My experience is that by end of April Siskins are
about gone, though I think stragglers can occur much later. Anyone? A
Black-throated Green Warbler was singing in a tree at the north end of the
bridge as well.
