This morning at the Arboretum I found my first Acadian Flycatchers and
Eastern Wood-Pewees of the year, plus a nice crop of warblers. I did not
have a chance to check out the gift shop area for the Cape May found
earlier in the week, so I do not know if it is still around. There are
still a few singing white-throated sparrows, but most seem to have moved
on. I found the Hooded Warbler in the same area where I found one a week
or two ago, on the south side of the Azalea Gardens. The spot is midway
up the hill along the line of hemlock trees.
