This evening at 5:45 on my way out to Knitting Guild I stopped to look for 
the killdeer that was calling in our recently plowed field. Much to my amazement 
along with the lone killdeer were 3 Black-bellied plovers; two females & a 
winter plumaged bird. A new bird for the yard list. Only the killdeer was left 
when I returned at 8:15.
