True story; happened just now...

My parrot, sitting near the window: "Look at the bird!"

Me, after glancing at one of the feeders and seeing only a single bird: 
"It's a red-bellied woodpecker."

My parrot: "And a cardinal?"

Me, looking again and noticing the red bird at the adjacent feeder: "!!!!"

(But then a chickadee flew up and my parrot said "It's a crow," so her ID 
skills obviously have room for improvement.)
