Yesterday (Sunday May 7, 2006), I led a field trip for the Cecil Bird Club to Meadow Park in Elkton. We covered both the east and west sides of the park, including the fish hatcheries. We had a very enjoyable morning with 5 participants and 61 species heard and/or seen. It was a little breezy and unseasonably chilly, but the sun was shining and we had a very nice time with something interesting always in view. My thanks to Gene for keeping track of the species list, which follows.
