Hi Everyone,

This morning I heard BLACKPOLL WARBLERs while walking to my car in Elkridge (Howard Co.) and then while walking into work in Linthicum (Anne Arundel Co.). For several years, my first spring Blackpolls have been on the day that the real masses descended upon the state. I wonder if today is to be that day.

In addition to the Blackpolls, I heard an Indigo Bunting and a Scarlet Tanager calling from trees in the urban parking lot by my workplace. I suspect there was a lot of migration activity last night, and now I just wish I could spend the day outdoors! Hmmm... a good day to take vacation?

Good birding,

Bill
