I birded the 309 ponds and then moved on to Pickering Creek in hopes of
phalropes but they were only hopes. I was able to find several shorebirds
but nothing spectacular.

2 pectoral sandpipers
5 semipalmated sandpipers
1 lesser yellowlegs
10 killdeer
1 spotted sandpiper
1 green heron
2 wood ducks

northern bobwhite heard

60 dunlin
5 white-rumped sandpipers
50 least sandpipers
4 greater yellowlegs
5 lesser yellowlegs
1 pectoral sandpiper
25 semipalmated plovers
15 semipalmated sandpipers
1 solitary sandpiper
3 spotted sandpiper
8 killdeer
6 wood ducks
1 green-winged teal
grasshopper sparrow heard
