Folks

This morning I got poor quality by my standards photographs of a Philadelphia Vireo. It was at Smallwood State Park near Rison, Charles Co., MD. At first I thought it was a Pine Warbler with a bright yellow throat, but when I noted no streaking near the neck or chest, and a pale face Vireo, I reached for the camera. This is #348 photographed in MD. Other birds of note were singing Warbling Vireo, Canada, and Kentucky Warblers. I will file a more complete report later. This DNR state park has a very fine loop trail that was productive from 8 AM to 11 AM.
