Apologies if this is a repeat; I sent this about 3 hours ago but I just
looked at the Osprey posts, and it was not received. This is second try.

I am really glad I had Friday off - I birded around here two consecutive
days; starting on the river both mornings, and spent the other time of day
looking around the Park (Jug Bay area in PG County). Also, on Saturday
afternoon, I also ventured briefly over to the landfill and counted some
birds while I was there.

I had 107 sp. Fri., 106 species Sat., and 120 species for the 2 day
total. Highlights were 22 warbler species, including a singing Canada
Warbler in my yard (first ever), and in a field near the landfill I found
a rare treat - a Bobwhite duet (I saw one pair; and several times when the
male of the pair called, I heard a different male respond).

The species observed are listed below; the number of individuals (I had
separate daily tallies) will be reported to the PG Coordinator (F. Fallon)
for the May count. Also of interest, although I missed seeing them - a
Northern Harrier was seen Friday and a Golden-winged Warbler on Saturday
by fellow observers here.
