Yesterday's Mourning Warbler was not in evidence at the National Arboretum today, but it was quite birdy, especially around the middle of the paved road up Mt. Hamilton. 14 warbler species seen or heard.

Warblers seen: Wilson's (seen down around the azaleas), Northern Parula, Blackpoll, American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Black-throated Green, Hooded (singing loudly), Blackburnian (male gave great looks), Chestnut-sided, Baybreasted (brief look only), Yellow Rump, and Ovenbird.

Warblers heard only: Black-Throated Blue and Canada.

Plus veery, woodthrush, and swainson's thrush.
