GlacierI spent this lovely morning at the McKeldin (8:30-10:00) and Daniels
(10:30-11:30) areas of PVSP. It was a very "birdy" morning, but I was
disappointed that I didn't see more warblers at McKeldin. However, as soon
as I got out of my car at Daniels, I spotted a gorgeous male BLACKBURNIAN
WARBLER near the small stream next to the parking lot. This is a county
first for me, having only seen them in Garrett County before. (but then I am
not as experienced as most on this list!). Anyway, he gave me some excellent
looks at his beautiful fire-throat (I personally think it looks more like a
sunset!) and sang a lot!

Also, got my first REDSTART(s) of the year!

And as always, the beautiful BALTIMORE ORIOLES are abundant and very vocal
near the parking lot! I'm pretty sure I spotted one of their nests! (wish
some of them could pitch... but that's a different story... :)
