Hi all --

Cloudy and thus not a great Roc Creek day but you never know...! so we went out. Well, our prediction was correct -- appears that most everything left and nothing came in (looking at the weather map I can see why). However, still loads of Swainson's Thrushes, though not as many as yesterday.

Warblers: Black-throated Blue (1, male), Blackpoll (4-5), Canada (1), Ovenbird (4), Redstart (2), Yellowthroat (5). Reported by anther birder, Baybreasted (1).

Other migrants: Yellow-billed Cuckoo (1), Great Crested Flycatcher (3), Rose-breasted Grosbeak (1), Scarlet Tanager (4), Red-eyed Vireo (8), Swainson's Thrush (~25, mostly at mulberry trees), Veery (2), LINCOLN'S SPARROW (2).

Migration is definitely winding down though still wondering what happened to the Empids (and the Gray-cheeked Thrushes)...
