Large numbers of warblers were seen early thus morning in the
maintenance yard at Rock Creek Park, primarily the black-throated
green, chestnut-sided, and magnolia. However, the highlights of the
morning were the GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER and the BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO,
both seen near in--about 30 to 40 feet away at eye level in the back
vines. Also seen were:

Northern Parula (8)
Black-throated Blue (4 female)
Black-throated Green (20+)
Blackburnian (3)
Blackpoll (many heard)
Chestnut-sided (20+)
Magnolia (20+)
Myrtle (1)
Ovenbird (heard only)
Yellow (1)
Yellowthroat (6+)

Swainson's Thrush
Wood Thrush
Veery
Eastern Kingbird (2)
Scarlet Tanager
Acadian Flycatcher
Plus the usual.
