Lisa and I birded from dawn to dusk on Sunday, 5/21, in DC,
Maryland and that other state off to the West.... Total of 83 species -
including some great migrants - a personal best for us.

	Highlights were:

	Rock Creek Park/Maintenance yard, 6:30am - 8:30am

	- Olive-Sided Flycatcher
	- Yellow-Throated Vireo (id'd with help of other birders
present)
	- Black-Billed Cuckoo (Lisa saw, I missed)
	- Warblers included Chestnut-Sided, Yellow-Rumped, Magnolia,
Yellow, N Parula, American Redstart, Black-Throated Green, Bay-Breasted
(a quick peek), Canada, Blackpoll and Common Yellowthroat.
	- At least 3 Ruby-Throated Hummers

After hitting a couple of migrant traps in Virginia (and getting
our life Mourning Warbler and Lisa's life Blackburnian, among others),
we got to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens just as it was closing. RRRG! But
saw a Great-Crested Flycatcher by the 1st pond.

We went to Fort Smallwood Park, AA County, to end the day.
Despite the winds, there were some decent birds:

	- Baltimore Oriole (3 or 4 singing)
	- Eastern Bluebird
	- Blackpoll Warbler and Common Yellowthroat again
	- Great-Crested Flycatcher
	- Veery
	- Snowy Egret
	- Blue Grosbeak
	- Common Nighthawk (2 or more, flying in daylight)
	- Chipping Sparrow
	- Spotted Sandpiper
	- Common Tern

And so to sleep after 14 hours of birding and driving...
