A single Wild Turkey hen surprised me at Little Bennett yesterday
morning (Thursday 5/25). At first I got a quick glimpse of her further
down the trail, and she darted into the bushes -- when I reached the
spot where she disappeared, she flushed from the bushes less than five
feet away.
