Hi all,
My likely last foray to Blue Mash this season, and I finally got an Acadian
Flycatcher in the woods there, making #161 for my park list. Other
flycatchers included at least 9 different singing Willow Flycatchers, Great-crested,
Eastern Kingbird, Phoebe and Wood-Pewee. Other nice birds included a male Blue
Grosbeak, both oriole species, lots of Yellow Warblers and Common
Yellowthroats, as well as a handful of Chats, all 3 mimids, lots of waxwings, BG
Gnatcatchers, Spotted Sandpiper, Killdeer, GB Heron, Carolina and House Wren, RW
and Tree Swallows, White-eyed and Red-eyed Vireos, Wood Thrushes galore,
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Indigo Buntings, towhees and Field and Song Sparrows, etc.
Oddly, no titmouse or chickadee were seen or heard.

Good atlasing!
