Forgot to mention this last time. But at the Raptor Cages here at the
Nature Center we have an injured Bald Eagle that has a rather large
roosting area. While feeding them not long ago, Mary and I noticed a
House Wren flying within the eagle enclosure and then flying into the
eagle's roosting area. Totally puzzled, then there went another House
Wren flying into the eagle's roosting area. So we went inside to feed the
Eagle and looked inside it's roosting area and there the female was
sitting on it's nest wrapped around the inside of the 4 x 4 on the right
side of the eagle's roosting area. So I guess the Eagle has a little
company each and every day. If your in the area of Bear Branch Nature
Center take a walk along the trails and go check it out.
