Hi all while doing some late afternoon atlasing in my Centreville CW
block and after making a list of birds needed like killdeer . I went
On Dulin Clark Rd to a new housing developement going in that has a
gravel road. I drove to the end turn around were there no houses there
yet knowing killdeer nest in gravel roads sometimes . I soon Located 2
birds on the road thinking there was a pair of Killdeer. Turned out it
was just 1 killdeer that got an X for possible and new for that block
. The other bird was a Semipalmated Sandpiper keeping company with the
Killdeer. sort of an odd place I thought . However there was some water
in a ditch nearby and a pond near by . I was also able to add Rock pigeon
To the block as proable somehow overlooked thus far . while going thru
town . Not very exicting I Know.
