Gerry,
This comment will probably only muddy the water but, before birding B.S.
(before SongFinder) I actually could hear pretty good, and I would hear a
single note the Acadian would give out. In the passing years, I forgot about
it 'til--SongFinder. Recently, I ID'd a sharp, rising whistled note given by
the Acadian. Don't know it it's my old "chip" note or a different one. Can't
hear it without the SongFinder. Comment?
