Bob,
I doubt that thrashers would use the same nest for their second
nesting. Based on my experience the interval between the first brood
fledging and the start of the next clutch would be about a week.
The BNA Brown Thrasher account says that they may reuse an old nest in
the next breeding season, but only rarely use it again for a 2nd brood.
They also give the interval between fledging and egg laying as 4-12 days.
