      I also want to correct the lead paragraph in all the stories about 
these young Whooping Cranes.  The first whoopers hatched in the eastern US 
were part of the non-migratory Florida population.  This happened several 
years ago.  The ones in Wisconsin are the first wild chicks of the eastern 
migration flock.
