Driving north on Dulaney Valley Rd, between Wyngate & Surrey Rds, Dan & 
I had a falcon appear very briefly around noontime today.  We had a 
silhouette only.  Our impression was that it was not large enough to be 
a peregrine, but not small enough for a kestrel.  Merlins are not even 
mentioned in the last atlas nor in the possible list for the current 
one.. No falcons were found in this block in the previous atlas.

So this is a request for anyone in the area to keep an eye out for any 
kind of falcon.  This is the area of the Northhampton Furnace Trail, 
Pine Ridge Golf Course and Stella Maris Hospice.
