Jerry, gas prices fluctuate within states. In Chester County, PA, prices
have been over $3 for regular for some time now. Prices are cheaper
in Harford County, Maryland, than they are in Cecil, and even cheaper in
Dorchester.

And yes, I have curtailed birding expeditions now that it costs $100 to fill
our two vehicles. If I can piggyback birding onto another trip I do; otherwise,
I doubt I'll be zipping around the state as much as I did last 
summer. My life list will
have to stay where it is for a while!
