A first year, female Chestnut-sided Warbler hit a window at my house this
morning. I found her on her back, little legs up in the air. After I righted
her, she spread her wings to support herself & rested on her beak.A three-point
landing of sorts. I was thought she was going to be a gonner, but hoped for
the best. I was busy on the phone wishing my daughter a happy birthday so
didn't get around to taking photos right away. When I finally got back to the
bird, I took a couple & then went in for some real close-ups & she upped & took
off on me! Good for her!
