When I got home from the doctor, late in the afternoon, no more Monks (by 
the way, sorry about my earlier spelling...of parakeet. I was so excited. I 
was trying to watch the birds and type!

Very cool sighting. I do hope they come back!

I have two Monk Parkakeets at my black oil sunflower feeder right now. They 
are calling up a racket - loud.
New yard bird. Very exciting. One is bigger than the other - not by much 
though. The mailwoman came to deliver and scared them off - they were back 
within 10 minutes!
